Paul Krämer, studying conducting at the HfMT Köln with a scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, graduated with top marks. His occupation leads him into big European concert halls such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Sheldonian Theatre Oxford or the Bozar in Brussels.
As a guest conductor, Krämer regularly works with the WDR Rundfunkchor, the Netherlands Radio Choir and the SWR Vokalensemble. He conducts the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln, the Kölner Kammerorchester, the Bochumer Symphoniker, the Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal, the Concerto con Anima and the Cölner Barockorchester. Since 2013, he has been the conductor of the Kartäuserkantorei Köln. Under his direction, the choir regularly performs in the Kölner Philharmonie.
In 2016, Paul Krämer took up the position of the choir master of the Philharmonischer Chor der Stadt Bonn. Apart from regular rehearsals for the Beethoven Orchester Bonn, he performs with the Philharmonischer Chor nationally and internationally. In the context of the Chorakademie des WDR Rundfunkchores, Krämer works as a lecturer for ensemble singing.
