Description
Two concert halves, two worlds: Beethoven’s Fifth meets a mix of West African tradition with classical music, the audience meets musicians spread throughout the room. For the first time, our Fellow Momi Maiga combines his own kora and vocal pieces with the Ensemble Resonanz, as well as integrating the sparkling sound of his stringed instrument into classical and contemporary orchestral pieces.
This concert marks the conclusion of Ensemble Resonanz’s three-year series at the Beethovenfest, in which each performance explored the relevance of a Beethoven symphony to the present day.
